History

• Just Blinds commenced in 1982 as a cottage industry by an Australian father and son with the manufacture of timber blinds.
• They pioneered and introduced to the market place the concept of the wider timber blind blade - 46mm, 60 mm and 84 mm.
• In 1989 the wide blade shutter and its use as an internal window furnishing was introduced utilising blade sizes of 46mm, 84mm and 110mm.
• The company then expanded to the manufacture of woven timber blinds, an increased range of timber blinds and shutters allowing the customer a choice of timber, blade size and finish.
• As many of our initial staff who created and developed the improvements are still with us it provides depth of knowledge, initiative and the ability to handle the unique and unusual.
• Our basic business philosophy is the production of a good quality timber product and ensuring client satisfaction.
• We remain an Australian company and pride ourselves in being innovative and the leader in the production of timber window furnishing.

Timber Blind Factory at Mt Kuring-Gai, NSW

• The making of timber blinds requires an artistic and aesthetic approach
• The average staff member has been with Just Blinds & Shutters for eight years and our cutter where timber selection all starts has been with us for twelve years. This ensures the best timber blind in the market.
• We have our own spray booth and colour matching service and can colour match any sample

Shutter Factory at Rosewood, QLD

• Commenced shutter manufacture in 1989
• A job for experts: A purpose built factory for the manufacture of shutters
• Special custom made machines to provide accuracy and quality of product
• Quality control: Shutters are hand detailed and inspected
• Hand customisation of shutters where allowances are made for special hardware prior to coating
• For significant orders you are most welcome to view the factory and participate in a factory tour.
• Our fitters are professional tradesmen and factory trained. They have specially fitted out vans and are experts in job design, layout and follow the job through to completion and customer satisfaction.
